Who is this course for?
Anyone who’s ever wondered how you can truly use your voice: in singing there is technique and theory, along with the usual blood, sweat and tears associated with learning an instrument. Therefore, the content is structured mostly around learning technique, rather than performance.
The course is aimed at Adults from complete beginners, through to the seasoned performer who has just never learned and is curious to understand if, what they are doing is right.
- The key to well supported singing is good breathing. In this course, you’ll learn several breathing techniques and how to put them all into practise within song
- Good posture is vital to access the voice effectively. We’ll explore how to free up the voice to make singing easy
- A good singer will always warm up: we’ll start to look at different kinds of warm-up exercises and understand why they are important.
At the end of the eight-week period, you’ll come away with the tools to enable you to put it all into practise yourself.
The cost is £70 per person for the full eight weeks. Places are limited to a maximum of 10, to keep the class small and friendly.
