Next course will run for 7 weeks from 18th February 2020 to 31st March 2020. Tuesday evenings 8pm-8:45pm.
Who is this course for?
Anyone who’s ever wondered how you can truly use your voice: in singing there is technique and theory, along with the usual blood, sweat and tears associated with learning an instrument. Therefore, the content is structured mostly around learning technique, rather than performance.
The course is aimed at Adults from complete beginners, through to the seasoned performer who has just never learned and is curious to understand if, what they are doing is right.
The key to well supported singing is breathing and good posture. In this course, you’ll learn several breathing techniques, more about the voice/body connection and how to put them all into practise within song
A good singer will always warm up: we’ll start to look at different kinds of warm-up exercises and understand why they are important.
We’ll explore how to free up the voice to make singing easy, giving you the confidence to use it more
At the end of the seven-week period, you’ll come away with the tools to enable you to put it all into practise yourself.
The cost is £70 per person for the full eight weeks. Places are limited to a maximum of 10, to keep the class small and friendly. Book now below, or email email@example.com for more info.
“As someone who sings regularly but has never had a lesson, I really enjoyed this course and learned so much about what was happening when I sang, as well as many new tips and techniques that will help me in the future” Chris Robson
"I thought it would be a great idea to take my singing to the next level. I found the classes interesting and useful, I also noticed a big difference in how I could sing, just by a few little changes. Definitely recommended" Heather Good
"I found the course really beneficial for myself and have found a couple more breathing techniques which I never knew existed! Looking at how I was from the start of the course to the end my breathing greatly improved. I would highly recommend doing the course to help with your breathing techniques" Chris Jolly
