Learn to sing!

Next course will run from 4th September 2018 (excluding half term) Tuesday's at 5:30pm-6:30pm.

Who is this course for?
Aimed at 10 years + to teens who want to learn to use their your voice effectively: in singing there is technique and theory, along with the usual blood, sweat and tears associated with learning an instrument. Therefore, the content is structured mostly around learning technique, rather than performance, at this stage.

A more cost-effective option to 1:1 lessons and places are limited to a maximum of 10, to keep the class small and friendly.

Course Outline

  • The key to well supported singing is good breathing. In this course, you’ll learn several breathing techniques and how to put them all into practise within song
  • Good posture is vital to access the voice effectively. We’ll explore how to free up the voice to make singing easy
  • A good singer will always warm up: we’ll start to look at different kinds of warm-up exercises and understand why they are important.

At the end of term, students will come away with the tools to enable them to put it all into practise.

It is also possible to book this alongside our Learn Guitar class. Click here to read more about this class
