Davey Hal

Davey is a familiar face on the Southend music scene. He is a solo artist with several releases under his belt. He is also part of Davey Hal and the Big Bow Wow, Derek Cantona and pianist for The Owen Williams Band.

Davey is part of SOSLAM - a local collective, brought together to promote original music in the Southend area. The collective runs regular songwriting initiatives for both Adults and Children and Davey is the lead for the young musicians project to develop young musicians in the area. Davey also has his hand in producing for many artists and session work in studios as a pianist, guitarist, bassist and vocalist. Locally, he runs originals nights and open mic nights for songwriters, poets and spoken word artists.

Away from music, Davey is an accomplished actor and can be found later this year, treading the boards as part of the 'Oh Yes It Is!' improvised pantomime (for grown ups only). He has also taken on many roles in various plays and musicals through his career.

Davey works alongside Louisa on the Saturday Songwriting School and specialises in songwriting, theory and production. To find out more about this please following the link below.
