Group guitar lessons now available with our resident Guitar expert; Nicola Collis. Wednesday's at 5:30pm in Rayleigh.
Who is this class for?
For Young People who already play guitar and want to improve their skills. The class is aimed at those who have already already mastered the basics and now want to hone their craft. Places are limited to a maximum of 10, to keep the class small and friendly and help students really learn from each other.
Q&A sessions will take place each week so students have an opportunity to raise any queries/problems/ideas they have. The idea here is to create a forum whereby they can learn from each other.
Enhance skills: Nicola is an accomplished guitarist who can help iron out any of the technical skills they may be currently lacking, sometimes looking at some of the theory behind it all, sometimes looking at what you might do differently in a performance situation.
Performance workshops: understanding how to interact with an audience in difference performance scenarios; microphone technique; how to balance the vocal with the instrument; how to interact with the sound guy / run your own sound.
Vocal tips: basics on how to hold yourself whilst playing, breathing and more.
Adding dynamic to playing and writing
Different playing styles
Youngsters will come away more confident both technically and performance wise, as well as more competent with their instrument.
